Gig workers face difficulties in accessing a consistent flow of job opportunities that match their skills and location, leading to income instability and job uncertainty.
Plavno solution is a geolocation based notifications system. Workers can view daily app payments in particular locations. For instance, the app is connected to airports and can notify about incoming planes, leading to significant profits. Moreover, the app sends warnings about weather deterioration in the area.
The lack of intrinsic motivation, combined with the absence of direct interactions and a sense of belonging to the organization, has led to a decline in gig workers' enthusiasm.
To address the issue of low gig worker motivation, Plavno implemented a comprehensive incentive system, which allows users to take part in quests sponsored by the gig apps they are working with.
